Account deletion

Last updated: August 7, 2026

This page explains how to request deletion of your Kolo account and associated data. App: Kolo (Android package com.pd_develop.kolo; web: https://kolo-network-173e2972.vercel.app).

1. How to submit a request

Email the support address listed on the developer contact details on the Kolo Google Play store listing.

Use the subject line: “Kolo account deletion request”.

  • Send the email from the same address used for your Kolo account.
  • Include your profile display name (if any).
  • Clearly state: “Please delete my Kolo account and associated personal data.”

2. What we will do

After we verify that the request comes from the account owner, we will delete or de-identify the account and related personal data within a reasonable time (typically within 30 days, unless a longer retention period is required by law).

3. Data that is deleted

Where technically feasible, we delete or de-identify:

  • account and authentication data (account email);
  • profile (name, bio, avatar, phone, birth year, settings);
  • user content: posts, stories, comments, reactions;
  • chat messages (where possible without breaking other participants’ history — see below);
  • push notification tokens and contact-matching records tied to your account;
  • report/block records where you are the subject, as appropriate;
  • first-party analytics events tied to your user id (or their de-identification).

4. Data that may be retained

Some data may be kept for a limited time or in altered form when needed for security, fraud prevention, legal compliance, or service integrity:

  • backups — until backup rotation;
  • records required for abuse investigations or legal obligations;
  • messages in shared/group chats may remain visible to other participants as part of their history (your name may be replaced with “Deleted user”);
  • content you shared that other users copied or saved outside the service — we cannot delete it from their devices.

5. After deletion

You will lose access to the account. To use Kolo again, you must create a new account.
